Ocie and I have been together since April, 2004. I love him dearly, and hate that so many years got by us before we found each other again. Together we have Evan, our 3 1/2 yr old son. He is a handful and is always full of surprises !!!! I didn't think I could have children, so imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant! I was 34 during my pregnancy and was considered high risk because of my age, so I was really nervous and worried for him. But my miracle baby arrived on March 3, 2005, a mere 5 lbs. 3 ozs., 18 1/2" long. He was so tiny..... but just look at him now!!! Hopefully, he'll keep us young (OR FEELING REALLY OLD) for many years to come...LOL.
I also have a stepson, Ben, who is 17 yrs old. Yeah, Ocie definitely started his child rearing over again ....LOL. Ben is the typical teenage boy, and gives us our share of grief...LOL...Just kidding !!! There is a 14 yr difference between Ben and Evan, but they love each other very much.
I work in the field of bookkeeping/accounting, and love what I do. I just wish I had listened to my elders and went to college after graduation... "If I knew then what I know now", things would've been different.

Class of 1988's 20th Reunion
The reunion on Saturday was all that I had hoped it would be. It was truly wonderful getting to see everyone again after all this time. I had a blast reminiscing and dancing to that 80's hip hop. Sylvia, Rickey, Charlene and Yvette did a wonderful job in putting it all together.
To my best friends from those good-ole days, Rita, Loretta, Gloria and Melinda. I love you all and was thrilled to see you. I want to take the opportunity to say thank you for being there for me when I lost my mom. I'm truly sorry that I wasn't there for you when you needed me, but after my loss, my life changed drastically; which is no excuse. I loved Ms. Lucille and Mr. Wallace dearly...they played an important part of my life too, and I'm sorry I wasn't there to pay my respects.
I have a wonderful husband, Ocie, whom I love with all my heart. Together, we have a handsome,smart and funny, 3 yr old little boy named Evan. I never thought I would
be able to have children, then along came my angel baby. He is my world. I can't imagine my life without him.
While many of you have children that are just about grown, I'm just beginning. Just the other day when in Wal-Mart, my husband saw someone he went to school with and they asked if Evan was his grandson....LOL....I told him to get used to it because that wouldn't be the last time he'll hear that...LOL...!!!
Again, the reunion was a blast, and I look forward to the 25th reunion when we do the cruise thing. I hope that the MANY that did not make it this time will be apart of the next one.
